1. Bo’s Coffee
My College “Go-To-Coffee Shop”
I was just an ordinary student that time, like everyone else— who loves coffee so much! Bo’s was one of my favorite Café because they have one of the best cafe mocha and coffee frappe in town. Coffee became one of the ingredient to keep myself productive way back my student life. It also happened that this café was one of the nearest coffee shop in our school which makes it more accessible and convenient for me. Aside from their coffee—bo’s offers pastries, breakfast meals and other local dishes. For refreshments, you may want to try their ice blended coffee!

2. Tiny Brews Tacloban
The “Aesthetic Feels” Café
Hola, Taclobanons! Tiny Brews Café is just newly opened in Tacloban City. I was happy to know that they already have a branch in Tacloban. I have been patronizing this cafe since year 2023. I was actually visiting their main branch in Ormoc City, Leyte. I often visit this café to unwind—while I wait for my departure time to Cebu. I really enjoy the coffee and the aesthetic atmosphere of the place. If you want to try something new, Tiny brews Tacloban is a nice place to try with your family and friends. For me, they are also one of the budget-friendly coffee shop I can recommend.

My kind of “Minimalist” Cafe
I am currently based in Cebu, but when I visit Tacloban City for a vacation—I can’t help but feeling amazed when I see newly opened café & restaurants in my hometown. During our stay, we discovered GOOD ALIBI CAFE. I was very thrilled with the simplicity and minimal feels of this place—and as a digital creator like me, I find it one of the great place to sip your first morning coffee while enjoying your work. This cafe is accessible in Schools, Malls, and even market. Good Alibi Cafe serves affordable coffee, meals, and even fruit drinks. If you’re planning to visit Tacloban, you will surely enjoy dining on this place.

One of the “Simple but Elegant” Cafe
Rosvenil is one of my favorite “go-to” coffee shop— from my college days up until today. This place has their unique set of menus— they even have their very own tasty coffee, palatable meals, pastries, and fruit shakes. I like the cozy scent and vintage ambience of this place which makes them elegant. If you’re in Tacloban City but haven’t discovered this place yet, this is best the time to visit their cafe with your family and friends!

Cafe Lucia is a place that embodies natural vibe, beautifully located along the seaside. The location is a perfect spot for sunrise. I love their coffee and meals especially their pasta carbonara. “practicality + product quality and peace of mind”. I was not born rich, I simply love to find places that will make me happy & invest into affordable—budget friendly cafe’s that has good quality of coffee and services. All these years I also get to understand one of the luxuries in life—peace of mind is one of them and it’s a non-negotiable! So I tell you, discovering the best coffee shop in town where you can unwind, celebrate with friends or just enjoy a bold cup of coffee all by yourself with a peaceful atmosphere is one of life’s greatest pleasures! :)
