Moonlit Restaurant in Panglao, Island
Wondering what is the meaning of Moonlit?
A moonlit is a dazzling flash or a beautiful vivid light that comes from the moonlight. But for the Moonlit Restaurant on the Island of Panglao, there could be a unique meaning or an explanation as to why they named their Restaurant Moonlit.
It was the Summer Season of last year, my very first time on the Panglao, Island when we were introduced to this Female Korean-owned Restobar- The Moonlit Restaurant. Since then, we kept coming back to this place. The price is good if you want to bring your friends and loved ones. I can’t say they have a very cheap price for their menus but I can assure you, for its unique taste of cuisine & great ambience, they are worth the try!
I love the tropical and welcoming vibe the Moonlit restaurant is, it will really give you a moment to unwind. Moonlit is also a Beer Pub kind of Restaurant. Our first visit on this place was also the first time I had my first sip of their best-selling drink which is the Drafted Beer. What’s great is that you can try at least three draft beer flavors for free before you order! Alongside, you will also get a delightful-small sized toasted bread dessert. This fun tasting experience in Moonlit helps you pick the perfect beer to match your meal and taste.
Did You Know?
Moonlit Restaurant in Panglao serves Filipino Cuisine aside from Korean Foods. From Drafted Beers, they also offer Cocktails, Korean Liquor, Whiskey, Ade & Shake! We even tried one of the known Local Filipino dishes which is the Dried Fish they have on their menu. What surprises me is that they have created their own recipe of cooking the Dried Fish which makes it special, delicious, and appetizing! ( you should visit their restaurant to find out! )
One of the reason why I also like the Moonlit Restaurant is that they are clean, their comfort room smells good, they have a hospitable staff and a hands-on owner— which makes them really appealing, and carry good customer service.
Moonlit Restaurant deserves a soft spot on your Social Media feed. If you are looking for a place to chill out with your family and friends and have Instagram-able shots, moonlit is one of the coolest places to visit in the area. They have uniquely created their cuisines to the next level. We are happy with their service. :)
Looking for a restaurant where you can bring your pets with you? The moonlit restaurant is also a pet-friendly place.
Panglao Island has many restaurants already, but for a Filipina like me that travels on my own country— it’s always the Quality of Food and the Quality of Service I always look forward to. Discovering places with palatable cuisines always plays a part in my travel journey! And I always consider myself lucky to have discovered new restaurants that serves healthy and luscious tastes on their menu. Good food makes us happy, so as the excellent service!
Just a short tips for those of you who want to experience a better nightlife and leisure in Panglao; Renting or checking in an Airbnb or Hotels near Alona Beach may also be a good option to save more time and convenience. The transportation in Bohol is a bit expensive.
How to get there?
If you are from Panglao Int’l Airport going to Moonlit Restaurant, the travel time will take 10-15 mins depending on how busy the road will be. But if you are already in Panglao going to Alona Beach, Moonlit is just located nearby. Moonlit Restaurant is just beside the main road too. We find it expensive to commute to Panglao. In my previous blog about Panglao Bohol, I recommend renting or having a motorbike if you want to enjoy your stay without paying and cost too much for transportation.
