Panglao is also known for its most stunning white-sand beaches, vibrant marine life and delicious local cuisine. There are a lot of wonderful sightings you can find in the island of Panglao— and to help you make the most of your visit, I compiled a list of  Top Tourist Destinations in Bohol  , perfect for planning your ideal island getaway!

If you’re planning a trip to Panglao, don’t miss the chance to indulge in a delicious meal at one of the island’s standout Vegan Restaurant — The Vedge Bohol! It’s the perfect place to enjoy some delicious plant-based cuisines while enjoying your island vacation!

Is Vedge Bohol A Vegan Resto?

Yes! In fact, Vedge Bohol offers the ultimate plant-based dining cuisines. I love how appetizing vedge bohol foods are— and as a Filipina who loves Vegetables or what we call here in the Philippines Gulay, it is very important to fuel our body with some nutritious food with a twist! especially when we are travelling. I am happy that Vedge Bohol is one of the food establishment we discovered in Panglao Island— not only their food is delicious but you can also have it in affordable price! Vedge Bohol Restaurant deserves a great spot on your travel diaries experience here in the Philippines.

As you start exploring the island, you'll notice that finding a vegan restaurant can be a bit challenging. Well honestly, there are some options— but other vegan and non vegan restaurants in Bohol are totally expensive, particularly near Alona Beach. Panglao Island has a plenty of dining options, but only few food establishments truly commit to sustainability, which is really a common issue in the food & restaurant industry.

It was our first day of adventure on the island when we discovered Vedge Bohol. It is a simple, tropical vibe—vegan restaurant you can ever find in Panglao. Vedge Bohol has a native style of structures that beautifully speaks Philippine atmosphere. Just try to imagine yourself having a meal surrounded by the view of a swimming pool, coconut trees, flowers and more plants on its side.. relaxing, right? And by the way, they also have a Mini Bar where you can order soda, beers, etc. They also have a friendly and helpful staffs in the area that can accommodate you. What I also find more interesting about this place is they focus on healthy meals for their guests, and they are also an eco-friendly destination.

But hey, I was not born vegan anyway! I just love eating vegies on my daily diet— I try to include green foods as possible because it makes me and my body happy! :) And so far, Vedge Bohol has been one of my favorite restaurant in Panglao. They have an outstanding plant-based ingredients and service that you won’t find anywhere else in the island.

Below are just one of the sample images I got from Vedge Bohol Restaurant. These are my favorite healthy dishes they serve daily on their list of menu; Tofu Adobo, Tofish & Veggie Burger, Smoothie Bowl, Pesto Pasta, Chickpea Pasta, Pasta Carbonara, and more!

The place may not have the extravagant style of place you’re looking in an island but they are surely one of the “best and worth a try!” restaurant you can ever explore for food in Panglao, Bohol.

How To Get There?

If you come from the Airport, it will take you only 1 ride to get there, and in 15-20 minutes you will finally arrive at the location. But if you have your ride (car/motorbike) and still come from another province, and arrive in Tagbilaran Port, your travel time will take 40 minutes to 1 hour (depending on how busy the road will be).
